Supporting Parents Through Every Chapter of Parenthood

Stephanie’s Story

Becoming a parent is life-changing. I know—because I’ve been there. When I had my first child, I was overwhelmed by the emotional and mental shifts of new parenthood. While there was plenty of advice about baby sleep and feeding schedules, I quickly realized how little support existed for the parents themselves—especially for their mental health.

That experience led me to specialize in perinatal mental health. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where new and expecting parents can talk openly about their challenges, fears, and triumphs—without judgment. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone.

Therapy isn’t about having all the answers… it’s about feeling heard, understood, and supported in your journey.

My Approach

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who truly understands. My approach is:

  • Warm & Inclusive – Parenthood looks different for everyone. I create a safe space for all parents.

  • Evidence-Based – I use therapies like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy; mindfulness; and trauma-informed techniques to help you navigate anxiety, identity shifts, and emotional overwhelm.

  • Personalized & Supportive – Whether you're adjusting to life with a newborn, healing from birth trauma, or managing postpartum anxiety, I tailor therapy to your needs.
